Apples and Pumpkins

Here we are at the apple orchard....it was a little rainy so we didn't get to pick them off the trees but we still really enjoyed the apple donuts!

Our friend Maddie (Steve and Mel's daughter) came to visit, the kids enjoyed playing with their old toys just as much as Maddie did...look out Gabe they might not share.

Here we are at the Morton Arboretum, we really enjoyed painting the pumpkins too!

2 months

Gabe is 2 months already! He weighed 13lbs, 6.6oz. (86th percentile) and was 23 1/2" long (75th percentile). His head size is in the 50th percentile. He had to have 3 shots and the rotovirus vaccine by mouth so he has had a sad day, with sore thighs.

Iris started gymnastics on Monday, here she is proudly showing off her new leotard.

Parker started soccer on Saturday, he's not to sure about team sports...we are working on teaching him to be more aggressive.

Here they are on Saturday morning, the girls head to dance class the same time Parker heads to soccer.

Or Crying...3 Stinkers and 1 in training

All Smiles....loves attention...who doesn't

Sleeping peacefully...the other kids are playing outside.

There is no end to the rottenness in sight. Yesterday we bought a whole case of gatorade at Costco, after Parker begged--I gave in because they were being good --yes I took 4 kids to Costco--ALONE, anyway, today I told them to go play outside so I could wash the floors and when I went to check on them I found all of the gatorades and some juice boxes from the fridge emptied out...all over the garage and yard. I bring out the camera to take a picture and document the disaster and they are all smiles. I could not believe they were smiling at me and of course it made me laugh.

First Day of School and 6 weeks old

Here is Parker on his first day of Kindergarten.

Tia was a little unsure of her first day of preschool but she loved it and ran out with a big smile and hug.

Iris did not want me to take her picture and Tia was ready to stay again.

Gabe spent his 6 week birthday in the hospital because of a fever due to a cold. He weighed 11lbs 13 oz. when he was admitted. He is doing fine and it will probably be the first of many colds now that his siblings are back in school and the weather is turning cooler.

4 B's, Baptism, Ballerinas, Birthday Boy

A beautiful baptism. We all enjoyed our visit with Gabe's godparents (Uncle Matt and Aunt Nichole) and the kids really enjoyed playing with their cousin Aaron and Grandma and Grandpa.

Our Ballerinas. Tia starts her first year of ballet and tap and Iris is excited to have her sister in her class with her.

Our birthday boy is 5!! We can't believe he is 5 --seems like just yesterday when we got him. Parker had a special day with his best friend Katelyn, we went bowling, to the park and then to dinner with her family at the Mexican restaurant.

Making Forts...and Growing Bigger

13 days old

15 days old--
Gabe weighed 8lbs 6.9oz. at his 2 week appointment. The doctor thought he looked great!

16 days old
Mike and I went out for dinner last night to celebrate our new addition and Mike's promotion. Mike won the bet with the babysitter, that I would hold Gabe the whole dinner (in my defense ---he was awake). We still really enjoyed ourselves and are enjoying the newest addition!

Building Forts ..our favorite thing to do! Normally Mommy doesn't let them play with these couches so they were extra happy!
