Happy Halloween

The rain stopped just after they headed out to go trick or treating. They had a great time and got tons of candy. They are all anxiously awaiting a visit from the switch witch tonight. 

Firetrucks

Yesterday was a crazy day filled with soccer and in between games mom squeezed in flu shots. The question when we were done is, what is our treat for getting a shot.  Lucky for mom outside of the doctors office they had firetrucks lined up and the doors open. The kids enjoyed getting in and pretending to drive. They also got a little Lego firetruck kit which made their day. 

Splash Park Fun

We went to The Hub to play mini golf and the kids are having a great time at the splash park too. Parker and Daddy are hitting baseballs at the batting cages. 

First Day of School

We made it to school, a slightly hectic start with a stop at 7 eleven for Pringles, trouble finding parking and we missed lining up with the classes to walk in.  Mom was glad to walk them up to their classes with their school supplies and give them a kiss good-bye. 

I miss them already, the house is so quiet and calm, I'm not used to that!

Beach Day with Grammy

We had a fun last day before the start of school with a day at Michigan City beach with Grammy. 

A day at Santa's Village

Friday we went with a neighbor and her daughter to Santa's Village, the kids all wanted to go back the next day and we stayed from open to close, I think they liked it. Parker got called on stage for one of the kids shows and won a stuffed animal, the highlight of his day. 

Dad's birthday and summer fun

We enjoyed celebrating Dad's birthday last weekend. His request was a coconut cake, we turned it green, his favorite color. Since the weather was cold and rainy we went to see Epic. We all love a movie and popcorn. 

We are keeping busy this spring with Tia in t-ball, Iris in softball and Parker in baseball, not sure how we will squeeze in 2 more schedules, good thing they are still little.
